Wednesday. First day of my long holiday weekend. I spent the better part of it working on the radio show, and I'm currently half-way done. I have until 8:00pm tomorrow to get it finished and submitted, so I'll finish it in the morning when I've got a clearer, fresher head. Today was pretty selfish and lazy, and I don't regret it. I need to get some things done around the place over the next four days, though. It's getting cold enough that I've seen a couple of mice. I kind of want to let in one of the strays that I've befriended for a while and see if he manages to smoke any of them out. The joys of living in the inner city.
With inflation a certainty, I really need to lock in a year lease at my current rent. I'm still debating whether to sell off some electronics that I don't need. I also need to get my donation together for the thrift store. I can use all the tax deductions I can for this year. Thankfully, growing up and spending most of my life poor, I am perfectly comfortable with living a life without extravagance, and I've got a knack for stretching a dollar at the supermarket.
