There was a nasty mistake (on my part) on the Thursday radio broadcast which I corrected for the Saturday rebroadcast. I usually listen to the Thursday broadcast live, so I can monitor the quality and make adjustments on my end for future broadcasts. Last night, I accidentally left a song sitting on a track which I should have removed and as a result, two songs overlapped on the broadcast for a brief period of time. All I could do was close my eyes and wince and wait for it to end. Apart from that, I'm really happy with last night's show, despite the fact that I waited until the last minute to get it finished, and it showed.
I have really been craving a Teriyaki Bowl lately. The nearest place to me is ten miles away, and I hate driving, especially after sunset. I checked their online ordering menu, and found that they offer a "bowl bundle" which includes four Teriyaki Bowls (two regular, one spicy, and one orange chicken) for under $40, delivered. I placed an order for a bundle and I'll have dinner for tonight, lunch/and or dinner tomorrow night, and one or two to take to work with me on Monday. I tipped the driver (whom the app assures me receives 100%) the maximum. I order delivery maybe two or three times a year, and I may as well treat myself once in a while, while I can still afford it.
I need to get out and do more. Especially given that democracy is ending in my country in just over a month from now. Party like it's 1999, and all that.
